Shada, by Douglas Adams Just from skimming, it looks like the BBC found the script and decided to animate, then put the whole thing on the web. No idea yet about quality, I'll have to d/l 'em when I get home from work.

Oh man, the Japanese watch some scary TV... Apparently they kidnapped an aspiring comedian, stripped and locked him in a bare room and only allowed him to have what he could win through entering postal competitions. Even food. Might've been nice if they told him the entire thing was being broadcast, but nooo.

In other news, I love getting TLA Video emails. They really have the BEST marketing. Here's their spin on the Nicholas Nickleby movie, just out on dvd:

When we saw the trailer for this new version of Nicholas Nickleby, we thought it seemed real gay. Then we saw the wonderfully homo film! The casting alone is pretty remarkable: Charlie Hunnam (the delicious Nathan on the British QAF), Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot), Nathan Lane (his best quote, "Did I really need to come out? Who couldn't figure out that I was gay?"), Dame Edna/Barry Humphries and X2's Nightcrawler Alan Cumming.
When Charlie Hunnam lifts his shirt, we swoon...

*cough* Ok, Wren, maybe I'll have to see it after all...
