random Anime night

Had a last minute get-together with ladydouji tonight... ended up renting The Animatrix and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I'd seen VHD before, but the art's so incredible it's worth putting up with the crappy voice track to watch. The Animatrix, on the other hand, really impressed me. The first segment (Last Flight of the Osiris?) had some incredible computer animation... The muscle definition really blew me away.

Unfortunately we kind'a spazzed and had ice cream, cookies, caramel corn, and soda instead of any real dinner, and I'm really regretting it now. *moan* (I never said I was a grown-up.)
