it's been...
May. 9th, 2004 05:51 pmEnded up spending lots more time not packing than actually packing, but I've still got a couple weeks before the move so I'm not worried.
Met up with some of the boys for a little sushi and RP but we mostly watched movies instead. The Vampire Effect, which I'd heard about from ac_lifer, was so incredibly bad it was fun! Then we put on Memories (one of my favorite "art" animes) and something called Weathering Continent. evilprozac loved Magnetic Rose, the first story from Memories, almost as much as I did and we both agreed that Weathering Continent was ehh. I've tried looking up more into on WC, but all I find are Anime Reviews, no fan sites, nothing about manga... it's an enigma! A completely boring, though pretty, enigma.
(Oh, and evilprozac made it onto my "remember to hurt at a later date" list this weekend. They own a snake, so every now and then they pick up mice to toss in the cage. One of 'em died beforehand, and since the snake wouldn't eat it, they'd tossed it in a baggie and chunked it into the bin. The bin I happened to be sitting next to, mind. So Mr Evil's all set to take the bin out, sees me leaning away from it as I'd just found out there's a nasty ass rat inside, reaches in and goes "Here it is!" ...bastard thrust one of those plastic sixpack rings into my face. And yes, I screamed like a little grrrl. Humph.)
And now ladydouji and I are off to see Hugh Jackman and his amazing leather coat, so all is well with the world. ^_^
