Oooh, the pretty!

Thing the second, had a great day with David today. He was playing a bunch of FF9 this morning and I asked him which he preferred, the spell caster or the fighter.
Well, the magician gives a lot of bang for your buck, but the fighter's more reliable. I'd say the fighter.
*evil grin* That's my boy.
While he and I were at lunch, I had to call his Dad for something and found out that my ex's Father was found dead this morning. Don't know any details, except he was sitting up in bed in a pool of blood. (And no, I didn't tell the kid anything, left that for Scott.) When I dropped the boy off, I didn't know what to say, so I settled for the truth. "I'm sorry for your loss, but the world's a better place without him in it." He agreed with me, which should tell you something.
Oh, and David seemed to like Van Helsing. I kept thinking of VH in 15 minutes and wanted to yell out to the screen, like Rocky Horror.
Found the BEST shoes on sale at the mall and am now at ladydouji's for some fun. Which brings me to the pretty!
She got me the sweetest black leather whip for my birthday! Purrrrfect for my RenFest get up. *fondles* Yes my precious, we loves you, we do.
With any luck I'll have a phone by the end of the week. I'm missing so many flist posts, it's not even funny.
