Not dead yet

Spent most of the weekend making a conscious effort not to do anything. No dishes got washed, no laundry either... Tried taking out the trash but that ended in a major coughing fit. (Needless to say, the house is a disaster area.) On the up side, I am feeling better, provided I drug myself enough to actually sleep.

Yesterday I was so sick of being sick and stuck in the apartment that I had to get out. So I bundled myself off to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Fun movie, loud enough to cover my occasional cough, and I even laughed out loud once or twice.

As for the rest of the day Sunday, let's just say that I am a very lucky woman. Someone out there is looking after me and mine, and yesterday a whole hell of a lot of markers got called in.
