Update, thy name is Random
Jun. 20th, 2005 06:46 pmNot a whole lot to report, but you can chalk that up to no news being good news... My Dad had sent me flowers for my birthday, but after a week they'd offically bitten the dust. For some reason I'm always sad about tossing flowers, even after they've gone all brown with slimy stems.
With the new Harry Potter book coming out next month, I've started listening to the others at work... gotta love audio-books! I'd forgotten what an incredible reader Jim Dale is.
I've taken to cooking whenever buddahbelly68 comes over (we can't eat out every night!) and I'm pleased to report that so far I haven't burnt a thing! ^_^*V* The smothered pork chops seemed to go over exceptionally well... Thank you Paul Prudhomme!
The guys managed to get together to game yesterday, and we had a good one despite the heat (with all those people in my little living room, the A/C never got below 80!) Unfortunately, we won't be able to game again till the middle of July...
And finally, the boy's supposed to go to band camp some time in August... which the ex was kind enough to ask ME to cough up the dough for by the end of July. >.<;; It may end up being his birthday present from a couple relatives together, but I'm sure I can make it happen.
