Doing better all the time
Nov. 9th, 2005 01:11 pmI'm happy to report that whatever nasty thing I'd come down with over the weekend seems to have finally disappeared. All that sleep and benadryl must have done the trick. ^_^
Last night I wanted something other than chicken soup for dinner, so we headed out to Buca di Beppo. Now here's where it gets impressive... I wasn't thrilled with my dinner, right? The baked pasta tasted off to me, too sweet. And when the waiter asked how everything was before bringing us the check and I told him, he had the charge taken off the bill and substituted a different dish that I'd had there before and knew I liked! Now that's what I call service!
On the way home we picked up the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory DVD. Still need to have some chocolate on hand when watching it though, talk about mad cravings! ^_~
