What a day!

After a Starbucks/Bubble Tea infusion, Wrenlet and I hooked up with LadyDouji to go see the movie Chicago. It rocked my little world! Now, understand... I detested Moulin Rouge. I'd rather dig out my eyeballs with rusty spoons than be forced to watch it again, and when even Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman running around in scanty nothings don't do it for me, that's saying a lot But Chicago... Now, that's how a musical's supposed to be.

Then the three of us hit Bennigan's. I tried the Monte Cristo for the first time. (Whoever decided to deep fry a ham and cheese sandwich, sprinkle powdered sugar over top and serve it with raspberry dipping sauce should have been more honest and just called it a Heart Attack Waiting To Happen, but that was probably to long a name.)

Walked around the Design Expo after that, since the Chocolate Covered Strawberry frozen booze drink thing with dinner had gone to my head and I didn't want to drive quite yet. Amazing how the boys always want to come out and play when we get around bathtubs.... ^_~

I need to see if the movie's soundtrack is out yet... Damn.

Is that not the best sandwich you have ever had in your life? I know, it's not healthy but it is so delicious.

Mmm, so very licking good! Greasy finger licking, raspberry sauce licking, melted cheese and powdered sugar licking, I was the luckiest girl at that table and I only hate half of it. ^_~

Now I just need to figure out how to reheat the rest. I'm thinking in the oven?

That's how we do it. I usually wrap it in tin foil.

MmmMonte Cristo.

It's my absolute fave sandwich. Mike worked part time at Bennigan's while in college and once in awhile he'd bring me one home and DAAAANG I loved that man. ^^

While I did like Moulin Rouge, I loved the soundtrack (well, most of it). It's oe of my bestest Road Trip soundtracks.

Because We CanCanCan...!

Oh yeah. That and Rufus Wainwright. One of these days I'm going to buy all his music. :o)

I'd like to see Chicago.

Ah, cool. ^_^ I'll probably give it a go after midnight, when it's time for dinner.
