Did it again...

zebralittle52I know better than to go shopping hungry, really I do.
Put in a 10 hour day today, trying to make up some for missing Monday, and thus hit the grocery store a good two hours after I've usually eaten my dinner. So... I didn't really need the smoked salmon. Or the pork roast and sauerkraut. Or the buffalo wings. And god help me, Orville Redenbacher's Cinnabon popcorn? I never stood a chance.
(How did Brian put it? Why doesn't someone stop me before I do something stupid?)
In other news, I got to be evil to a coworker today.
It's the little things that make the day brighter.
First, I got her addicted to the Harry Potter audio books. Before, she had only seen the movies... and now she's very near the end of the fourth book. In fact, just before her quitting time, Harry and Cedric were yanked by the port key to Voldemort, and Cedric killed. She didn't want to go home and have to wait till tomorrow before finishing the book! (She works Saturdays)
Then she said "At least I know Harry makes it, 'cause he's in the fifth book."
I chime in with "Well, there is that whole necromancy thing..."
She was cussing me all the way out to her car. ^_^
