Actually, the subject line's kind'a appropriate in more ways than one.

Found out yesterday that one of my Dad's songs will be on the next Dr. Demento mailing... Some Starbucks thing I haven't heard yet, but still, how cool is that?

As for the insanity that is my life, I've never denied my obsessive compulsive tendencies, but DAMN, I gotta sleep SOME time! Just, well, not this weekend.

I'd already planned on it, kind'a. Was supposed to head right for Dallas after work, play around Itzacon, then go see Wrenlet and Mizzykitty. Only problem is, I'd have a good four hours between getting to Dallas and the con even starting. Trying to nap in my car in the winter weather isn't exactly my slice of pie, ya know?

And then one of my gamer friends pipes up with "Well, ya know... if we game tonight, you could leave from their house, after napping a few hours? Sure, you'd miss a couple hours of the con, but it's for 2 days anyway... And, hey, XP!"

*insert big, sparkly eyes here* Ooooh, XP!

I'm weak, I know. *needs a 12-step group*
