Home again, home again

Talk about your whirlwind trips! But I'm safely back home (or as safe as you get living on my side of town) and I'm really glad I went.



So ya'll know I didn't get any sleep between 3PM Friday and midnight Saturday night... Still, even with having to stop and throw cold water in my face to keep awake while driving, and missing a couple exits due to exhaustion, and only having an hour in the Itzacon dealer's room before closing time, it was worth it to see wrenlet again. I can't tell ya'll how much I miss her... but dinner was good, and we talked about everything, laughing a little and crying a little (She is Austria's Most Evil, ya know) and all in all I had a great time.

Didn't get to mizzykitty's till well after 11PM, and I vaguely remember having a discussion in her kitchen with someone I'd never met before about vampires in different media before passing out upstairs.

I woke up around 6:30AM, checked e-mail and the like, and decided to lay back down for a few more hours before doing breakfast with Sam and Rick and heading back to the con. ...I didn't get up again till 4PM. >.<;; (Needless to say, getting back to the con was a wash.)

We later went out for dinner (amazingly, the resturant was open when we got there ^_~) and, after a talking laptops, programing, and sanitation in relation to the next expected plague, I headed home.


At least you can't say my life's boring.

I enjoyed your stay as usual. ^_^ And yes, it was shocking that the restaurant we picked was actually open.

I think you were talking to Lloyd in the kitchen. I can't believe you guys were discussing vampires. ^^;

Lloyd? *scratches head* NO idea. All I remember's he had a nice shirt. And it was more about how they're used as literary devices, the differences between the old monster movie portrayal and Anne Rice, stuff like that. ...Is there something I should know about Lloyd and vampires?

um...no. lloyd is very normal (in comparison to us, you know)

I have no idea what auction you mean. We won the studio ghibli dvds, yes. anything else, I dunno.
