It's been a loooooong day
Jan. 30th, 2004 10:12 pmThe first thing you’ve gotta understand about Supervisor T. is he’s the kind that, even if you’ve worked and worked on a problem, going through all the logical steps to fix it, and just can’t figure it out, he’ll still sit down next to you and go through ALL the damn steps again anyway.
So, I had a problem. Had to find some files a Rep had uploaded to some site we’d never dealt with before... was able to log in without a problem, could navigate it alright, but the files Were Not There.
Now I knew, once I’d told him about this, he’d sit right down and start searching from scratch, so I figured I’d just snag him and get it over with, but every time I’d catch him in a free moment, something happened. First a phone call, then he ran back to proof reading, then blah blah blah, you get the idea.
So! I pounced on his next moment of inactivity, stood right behind his chair, and told him to lift his feet. He looked confused. “Lift my feet?” And he did. Hereupon I grabbed the back of his chair and rolled him over to my desk across the way.secondmoon and V cracked up, but hey, it worked!
