Weekend Wrap-Up

Houston survived the Super Bowl, so now we get our city back. ^_~

I actually had a good weekend. Was able to finish up the fourth season of Babylon 5 Friday night, then gamed Saturday (I knew they couldn’t go a whole weekend without it!) Sunday, ladydouji and I got together for a marathon of first season Angel. We covered the first three eps (Mmmm, Spike) before skipping to Rogue Demon Hunter Wes (Heee! Leather!) the two Faith eps (Mmmm, Faith) and then Gunn’s angsty intro. (He’sSoYoung!)

Today, alas, started out with a pthth. Got up extra early so I’d have time to run by the court house before work, had to file for Defensive Driving to take care of a ticket. Then the bank to get some paperwork notarized. On the way to work I hit Fry’s for more blank dvd’s and Rice Village for more Pet Shop of Horror’s manga.

I was wondering if anyone out there knew where I might be able to pick up blank dvd’s that hold more than the average 4.7 gigs that they sell in the stores?

(Hopefully work’ll let out early so I can go home and nap!)

There are no cheap blank dvds. Typical bundle of 25 will run you roughly $40 (Well, that's what I found at Fry's anyway.) As for brands, I haven't had problems with Verbatim. Picked up some Memorex yesterday, but haven't used any yet. I highly suggest using reusable (rerecordable?) ones till you've gotten the bugs worked out of the proccess.
