zebralittle52Just got the weirdest spam... I'm thinking random virus, but still it's odd. The sender's addy looks like "DuoMaxwell_HeeroYuy@gmx.de" (who I doubt really sent this) with a 99KB file attached, the subject "Your IP was logged" and this for body text:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Downloading of Movies, MP3s and Software is illegal and punishable by law.
We hereby inform you that your computer was scanned under the IP 194.138.57.44 .
The
contents of your computer were confiscated as an evidence, and you will be
indicated.
You get the charge in writing, in the next days.
In the Reference code: #42925, are all files, that we found on your computer.
The sender address of this mail was masked, to fend off mail bombs.

- Department for "Illegal Internet Downloads", Room 7350

So if this is legit, you're to assume that spelling and grammar are not high priorities of such official notifications. Really, how are you supposed to take this shite seriously when they can't even spell "indicted"?
But more importantly, why would the feds be sending you a 99K attachment? I think I smell some bullshit here. ~.^
