well, that's a new one...
Feb. 5th, 2004 02:58 pmJust got the weirdest spam... I'm thinking random virus, but still it's odd. The sender's addy looks like "DuoMaxwell_HeeroYuy@gmx.de" (who I doubt really sent this) with a 99KB file attached, the subject "Your IP was logged" and this for body text:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Downloading of Movies, MP3s and Software is illegal and punishable by law.
We hereby inform you that your computer was scanned under the IP 194.138.57.44 .
The
contents of your computer were confiscated as an evidence, and you will be
indicated.
You get the charge in writing, in the next days.
In the Reference code: #42925, are all files, that we found on your computer.
The sender address of this mail was masked, to fend off mail bombs.
