Ode to Buca di Beppo

Lo, I sing the praises of what has to be the best Italian restaurant I've come across to date. Family style dining, HUGE portions... and damn it's good! One of the most often heard questions tonight was "Is that a pizza?" *grin* No, that's my garlic bread.

Let me tell you about the Chicken Saltimbocca... tender chicken breasts, covered in prosciutto, sage, capers and artichoke hearts. And the lemon butter sauce? *melts*

And don't get me started on the Tiramisu...

And yes you do conquer that food! J. and I went to the one in KC, and we had a bottle of wine with our dinner (I drunk by the end of the meal, it was that srtong!). But the next time we went we where smart about it. We ordered 1 plate of food and split it between the 2 of us! Good for you, for having a nice meal and great music.
