The Weekend Report

zebralittle52Didn't do anything Friday after work except go home and crash, as the kiddo was being dropped off early the next morning. (Still didn't get enough sleep, but what'cha gonna do?) The boy's gotten so big! Has to be 5'8", all tall and lanky, and his voice is cracking. Man, I feel old. He curled up on the couch with some movies and games for the Playstation, so he was happy. (Apparently my TV is bigger, so he likes coming over. ^_~)
meajon and J stopped by for a bit, which is always of the good. And now my computer's burners work again! *happy dance*
Before dropping him off, I figured Chipotle might fill the bottomless pit that is my son... Now that was scary. The kid finished an entire burrito in ten minutes! *insert vacuum noises here* I was worried for his fingers!
Talked with the ex a bit after saying bye to David... I'm still hoping the new schedule will work out.
As I was just down the street, I then headed over to see if the boys had a game going on. Turns out two of the brothers in the house were off at a funeral... so the rest of us sat around and chatted for a while. They tried to teach me Magic, I just got confused. Then, after a huge torrential storm had passed, the two got back... only to have ALL the brothers turn around not five minutes later and leave for the hospital! The oldest brother's wife had just given birth! ...so the rest of us sat around watching Slayers. They got back around 2am, looked at us, and it was like "Who's ready to game?" >.<;; Man, I was tired! But we hadn't played the game with my Dwarf in so long... I think we only managed a couple hours before we put it on hold for next weekend.
Dragged myself home, passed out for a while, and then went to the Alamo Drafthouse with ladydouji to see Hellboy (she hadn't seen it yet.) Best Easter yet, but that might be 'cause of the Guinness. ^_~ After hanging with her for a while, I got home and worked on the computer.
Had a great chat going with evilprozac. *grin* He found the Top 35 Similarities Between Gaming And Porn. 13. In either case, a gang of heavily-muscled men in leather with whips spells trouble. *snerk* (We both disagree with #22, btw.)
All in all, a busy, fun weekend. ^_^*V*
