Man, am I beat. Found the apartment of my dreams yesterday. (Good neighborhood, cheaper rent for more space... no washer/dryer, which bites, but the already installed alarm and built in bookcases go a long way.) It's just down the street from Cafe Japon, Nippon Daido (Japanese grocery store) and Whole Foods... so you know where I'll be shopping!

After getting a big bundle of paperwork for that, I headed over to the boys place to game. Got to watch Iron Chef America (interesting how the American version has ALL the kitchen gadgets, neh? And we both boo'ed Flay winning.) Then I got to dust off my Dwarf. Yay!

I'll have to write up the game later, when I'm not so bloody tired...

Dragged myself home around 7, slept till 1, then hit the ground running to fill out all that paperwork and get it back to 'em before they closed today. As it is, I'll still have to wrangle with the office where I'm at now tomorrow. >.<;;

And for a last minute change of plans, as ladydouji has lost A/C at her place, she'll be coming by for movies... meajon, maybe we can do something next weekend instead?

*waves flags* Go Go Apartment! It sounds very nice indeed. I need to move somewhere they have stores like that, instead of just Wal Mart and an inordinate number of fast food and teenie Chinese joints. There's not even anywhere to buy fresh herbs around here. I'm having to grow my own as I learn to cook.

And....

Go Go Sakai! Flay's a jerk, and should have lost based on personality alone :^p Besides, I loved Sakai's reaction to those live trout. He'll chop into a turtle that's still kicking, but having to fish makes him go, "Wow."

Sweet! There's also a Cresent City Beignet, Cafe Laredo, a Taco Cabana (of course), and some french restaurant I've wanted to try....I'm so glad you found something! You'll love that area!!! Congrats Dude!
