S is for Sleep

zebralittle52I'm taking a sick day today. Was up way to late, got next to zero sleep, and found myself sitting in the car in the parking lot, just staring at the bricks across the sidewalk. Fifteen minutes later, my phone rang and woke me up.
Had a great day Sunday with David, got some pictures hung in the living room, not a lot happened considering I was working off of maybe 4 hours sleep... Then, having taken the kid back home, I was just about to nap when Beau called. Babylon 5, then get together with the guys at IHOP? Sure... So much for my nap. The guys are always good for a laugh, and it's been ages since I'd seen 'em. (Haven't gamed with 'em since before Akon... so it just -feels- like forever.)
Then it was back to my place for more Babylon 5, and Beau got it in his head to play with my friends on AIM. While I was still signed in. Apparently I confessed my undying love to ladydouji last night, as well as invited another friend over for a threesome... Then ladydouji came over to help hide the body. Um, I mean, the three of us watched Babylon 5. Really. She's a day dweller, so alas she didn't stay long... Beau and I got into a philosophy discussion, and the next thing I know it's 8 AM. (Amazing how comfortable the floor is when you're too tired to move.)
Now if you'll excuse me, my nap is long overdue.
