zebralittle52Saturday I tried my hand at a new BESM game. (Big Eye Small Mouth, along the lines of D&D only using an Anime base instead of swords and sorcery.) It’s set to be an intermittent game, depending on when people can get off work and the like, but I’m really liking the story concept, and I think I could have a LOT of fun with my character, so we’ll have to see.
B came by while that was going on, and afterwards the lot of us sat down to watch Kill Bill 2. (I still squirm at the scene with the snake. I hate snakes.) If you can get a hold of the DVD, check out the deleted scene. It’s great! Does anyone know if there are any Easter Eggs?
Sunday was the other game, and even though we didn’t start till LATE, what we did manage was really good. Mostly fighting, but we still got in some important RP. After that wrapped up we put on Army of Darkness, then talked comics and video games for a couple hours.
B played an evil, evil prank on M and me, and I just know M is going to strike back somehow... and I’m gonna be stuck in the middle. Can’t I be Switzerland? Or at least the French, they stay out of everything.
Had a long lunch today with some girls from work... felt wonderful, just sitting and laughing and being silly. Of course now I’m stuffed and want a nap, but it’s still a good feeling.
And tomorrow is the dreaded dentist appointment. I think that’s all I’m going to say about that for now.
