Where does the time go?
Dec. 21st, 2004 04:44 amI've already got a new icon lined up for after Christmas, so I should probably use this one while I can.
The last three days have just whizzed by.
Saturday was full of Magic the Gathering with B (I've only been playing for a week and, and yes I squee'd when Will Wheaton mentioned playing it too. I'm a geek.) He had to run, then ladydouji and I headed out for dinner. After filling up on humus and shish kabob, I subjected her to Sharp's Rifles and the first episode of Hikaru no Go. *evil grin* No one can resist Hikaru crack. ^_~ Later B came back over and we started a Lord of the Rings Extended Edition marathon... it's agreed that the Arwen scenes were put in specifically for bathroom brakes. Unfortunately we only got half way through Two Towers before passing out.
Sunday we finished Two Towers and Return of the King, played some more Magic, and then rented Van Helsing. (I showed him Van Helsing in 15 Minutes. It still makes me roll around laughing. ^^) If you've picked up RotK, there's two Easter Eggs (or at least they're on the extended version. I'd imagine they're on the other too?) The first disk's egg had to be the funniest one I'd seen in ages! Ladydouji gave me a Go set before leaving Saturday and we cracked it open. Fun!
Today I slept. And then I slept some more. Did the dishes, laundry, read... generally relaxed and vegged. Did get out to see Flight of the Phoenix though. Not a bad movie. I'd call it a Fast Food kind'a movie. Yeah, it was all right in a pinch, but it's not something I'll think about later. Still, it was at the Alamo, and that's always a good thing.
