Got up to Dallas all right yesterday, but by the time I got there wrenlet was starting to get a sore throat. By dinner she was feeling worse, and by midnight lots and lots worse. So this morning I ducked out of there to let her get what rest she could, and headed back home. (We did manage a couple eps of Stargate: SG1, 'cause Richard Dean Anderson is the sexy. ^_~)

Getting home wasn't a problem, except for some stupid football game in Dallas that everyone was trying to get to, turning the freeways into parking lots... but after that everything was fine.

And now I'm sorely in need of a nap. g'night.

Ya know, I completely forgot to ask if you'd heard what happened to 101 KLOL? In case you hadn't, they yanked it off the air without notice one friday morning and replaced it with all Tehano all the time. Most of the dj's went to work for The Buzz.

Yep, Clear Channel... I heard they did the same thing to a 30 year old rock station in California as well. Couldn't take the heat, I'm guessing.

Six Feet Under

Hey Madame, L and I finished the second season of "Six Feet Under" and when we got to the last disc it started skipping on the 12th episode. We removed the disc and there appear to be some scratches on the disc and it is affecting the first 10-15 minutes of episode 12. I've seen something similar before, in my case, the disc was loose when they shipped the item. Just thought I would let you know so you can find the info to return the item. I will bring it on Monday.

Yes, we made it through the rest of 12 and all the way through 13 without any glitches. We did not check out any of the extras so I don't know about how those are being effected on that disk. The rest of the series was fine. We checked each one of the other disks and they had no scratches it was number five that had the problem. I know that this blows because I've went through the same thing with that Abbott and Costello set. I returned that fucker three times before I got a good one and I ended up being an expert on those movies. I figure we can talk more about it when we are at work.
