Honestly, where does the time go? Last I looked it was Saturday and now it's Monday? Sheesh. *taps watch*

It's getting to be Rodeo time again in Houston. I hate Rodeo time. Not the Rodeo itself, mind, 'cause that's where I was able to see Duran Duran, and I'd love me some tickets to Jeff Foxworthy... It's just that all the ads between now and what, March? all have to have some kind of tie-in with the damn thing. I don't care if they're selling fish food, they're gonna want lassos or horns or a friggin' cowboy hat somewhere in the ad.

In other news, nothing's better for a headache than the Twin Peaks soundtrack. Just close your eyes and... slide.

Hey be happy they don't want to cowboy lassoing the fish! But I do agree with you. Houston a very metropolitan area suddenly wants to try and go cow poke everytime at this time of the year. Very silly if you ask me.

Ouch. *sends sympathy and some sort of filtering device for the TV* Try Florida and the stupid Superbowl. We might as well all go and live in the freaking stadium.

Although I did have to laugh at the one where they want us all to come downtown sometime shortly beforehand and help beautify the city by voluntarily picking up trash. Supposedly they will have collectors stationed about to give us all bags, and take the full ones when we return, and everything! They chose to have it read in a frighteningly cheerful voice, too. x.x

*sigh* As for the rest, unfortunately, dodging the TV won't help avoid the Rodeo rush... I do graphic design work for the newspaper, and every page is covered in it.
