Where have I been?
Jan. 10th, 2005 11:47 pmHonestly, where does the time go? Last I looked it was Saturday and now it's Monday? Sheesh. *taps watch*
It's getting to be Rodeo time again in Houston. I hate Rodeo time. Not the Rodeo itself, mind, 'cause that's where I was able to see Duran Duran, and I'd love me some tickets to Jeff Foxworthy... It's just that all the ads between now and what, March? all have to have some kind of tie-in with the damn thing. I don't care if they're selling fish food, they're gonna want lassos or horns or a friggin' cowboy hat somewhere in the ad.
In other news, nothing's better for a headache than the Twin Peaks soundtrack. Just close your eyes and... slide.

Date: 2005-01-12 02:17 am (UTC)Although I did have to laugh at the one where they want us all to come downtown sometime shortly beforehand and help beautify the city by voluntarily picking up trash. Supposedly they will have collectors stationed about to give us all bags, and take the full ones when we return, and everything! They chose to have it read in a frighteningly cheerful voice, too. x.x
Passing through randomly as part of a flist exchange. ^^
