Saw Constantine tonight with meajon... Fun movie! Good FX, had me jumping a couple times... But I only now found out it has one of those quick-clip scenes after the end credits are done, and we missed it! *pout* Guess I'll have to wait till DVD.

*g* saw that tonight as well. Also did not see the clip at the end, meh =/ I am, however, enough of a... er, fma-fanatic XD; to know that the design on Constantine's forearms - the circle holding a circle with three arrows coming from the bottom line? Was used in alchemy to symbolize the philosopher's stone XD

Hee! It's all flavor, don'cha know. Course, it just makes me think of FMA and tattoo's all over again. ^_~ Wouldn't it rock if the design was on two people, instead of two arms, and the symbol was complete when they came together? *inuendo intended*

Hee! Naughtiness.

I kind of found the film unslashable. (I tried. I always try. ^_^) The series -- much more opportunity. I think they actually did it a couple of times...

*grin* I meant Full Metal Alchemist slash, but yeah, kind'a hard to see it in the film (not that it can't be done, of course ^_~) I think I may end up seeing Constatine in the theaters again... TV's just don't so the FX justice.

Whoops! Sorry. You know, I kind of convoluted your entry and someone else's in my head -- I think they wanted to slash Constatine and Lucifer. (I wouldn't mind if it were the Lucifer from the graphic novels, but not this one. ^^)

I totally missed that end scene too. I don't mind quite so much because of the press-pass thing, so I may go see it again.

I know in my heart that I'm probably so in love with the film ONLY because I thought it was going to be the dreck of the earth ever since I heard Keanu was going to star in it 2 years ago, and it actually wound up being somewhat acceptable (though it didn't actually do justice to the series -- what could do justice to a friggin #205 + issue series started and influenced in part by Neil Gaiman). But hey, happy is happy, and I am VERY happy, so I'm going with it.

The anti-smoking diatribe was kind of over-the-top to the point of silly -- not to mention way out of character -- John Constantine would have been very "f*ck-you" until the bitter end, no matter what deities he met face to face.

Aaaaaaaaaand.... it still should have been Dennis Leary. Or Nicholas Cage. Or any one of many real-live cockney Brit actors that were in "Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels." Or the a-hole from the Brit version of "Coupling." Or anybody not so bloody CLEAN and crisp-black-suit and middle-class. Or anybody... OK I'll stop now while I'm still happy. ^_^

*grin* Tsubaki's usually right on target, movie-review wise. ^_~

Oh! And don't forget the Battlestar Galactica disks for Sunday?
