Is the sun up yet?
Mar. 2nd, 2005 05:11 amI don't watch scary movies. I just... no. Not unless I'm in a brightly lit room full of other people I can cling to. But here lately B's gotten it into his head that I should watch Ju-on which is SO not gonna happen (and can you believe they've already churned out two sequels?), but he's been trying to build me up to it.
Last night was The Village. Only a few moments of suspense, but the ending twist pissed me off so bad the whole movie's a write-off. Trust me, don't get me started, I'm still pissed. And then tonight was the new Exorcist, The Beginning. Joy.
Yeah, I won't be going to bed any time soon... So what do I do to pass the time? Put on The Duel. Wonderful farce, spoofing the kung-fu genre... great for making all the scary shadows in the apartment go away. ^_~

Date: 2005-03-02 09:49 pm (UTC)Beau says Juon was pretty weak, but what about Event Horizon? Every time he talks about freaky-type movies, that's the one the others have to top. If you have something better, he wants to know.
The new Exorcist wasn't all that bad. Had me jumping a couple times and I didn't like dark rooms the rest of the night, but I've seen worse.
And yeah, I love Shaolin Soccer! Have you seen Kung Fu Hustle, by the same peeps? Now that's silly. ^_~

Which someone told me to watch rather than the Am. version of it? Ahahah, I managed to write a research paper on the Thing movies! And got a good grade! College profs are strange and wonderful!^^
I absolutely refuse to say how many times I've seen "The Fog".
