zebralittle52Finally a movie I gotta recommend people not see at the Alamo.
To quote katsudon, Dark and dirty and brutally beautiful.
Loved the imagery, the black and white and just enough color to punch you in the gut, loved how very vicious and cruel and shiny it was. And when Eiljah Wood... Let's just say, Frodo doesn't live here any more.
Now, don't get me wrong. We're not talking And The Oscar Goes To here, not for acting... but the movie was an obvious work of love. The bar has been raised, and there are no more excuses for another Electra or Catwoman.
If you've ever been sucked into a comic, you'll understand.
