Once upon a time, I could cook

Decided to make some chicken and rice in the crockpot last night, figured it'd make for good leftovers I could pack up for lunch. (Lord knows I can't afford to keep eating out, that's for sure.) It was even a packaged thing, just throw together on Low and walk away for 8 hours. How hard could it be?

Only... I left it on High for 8 hours instead.

*headdesk* Maybe I should just stick to take away.
