zebralittle52This weekend is Akon up in Dallas... and I'm not going. I've gone every year for the past 5, but burnout really soured it this time around. And I know if I went it's probably be just as dull as last year (hell, the only things that really rocked for me last year were the D&D figure painting and the stand-up comedy I saw... neither unique to Anime in any way).
But...
Hearing about it, reading about it... running into old Anime-type friends at the Japanese store that I haven't seen in years, watching them stock up for the convention... I'm starting to jones for a fix.
Maybe I can get by with a shot of Utena after work.
In other news, I love Fridays.
