My new glasses came in and I decided not to get the transitions lenses since the only time I'm really out in the sun in the drive into work and clip-ons work just as well for a hell've a lot cheaper. Only, on my way into work today? I completely forgot about the clip-ons, despite the fact that I kept thinking "Damn it's bright!"
Maybe if I kept 'em clipped to my visor, then I wouldn't forget 'em.
