One Con to rule them all...
Mar. 27th, 2002 10:50 pmBlade 2, or Making the Most of Your Red CoolAid and Jello Budget:
And I thought Queen of the Damned had an ewww factor... Gah! Streams and streams of chunky red stuff, bubbling and splashing and dripping *everywhere*. But damn the fights were cool! Knives everywhere, feet and hands and elbows and head shots and Tas has a new hero. ^_~
(Tasuki: *eyes all wide and sparkly, on his knees looking up at Blade* Teach me?)
Last weekend fun:
Took a friend Saturday to Aggiecon up at Texas A&M (thus the subject of this post.) She got her Sandman #1 autographed by Neil Gaiman. Boy, that'd be worth a lot of money (after you've pried it out of her cold, dead fingers.)
We were able to catch about the first 4 eps of X the TV show. Ah CLAMP, all those pretty, slashy, doomed boys. Must admit though, little things like, oh, *exposition* really put it one up on X the movie.
Spent way to much money in the dealer's room, got lost between buildings a couple times, and sat in on a panel discussion on the influences Art and Writing have on each other in the creative process.
(I love listening to creative people talk. Makes me feel like I'm not the only weird-o with voices in my head... only they get paid for theirs. Lucky them.)
