Talk about dodging a bullet, all we saw of Rita was wind and a bit of rain. There's a couple branches down in the yard but that's about it. Now it's just a matter of fielding the relatives who've been calling every half hour, all morning long.

Still raining? It didn't rain more'n a half hour all night long. The wind'll pick up now and then, but that's it. Our lights never even flickered, which is amazing considering the power's out all around us. *hugs* We're more than fine.

*hugs* The lights never even flickered. I am SO glad I topped off the gas tank on Wednesday, 'cause there's no telling when the city'll have more. Guess we'll have to wait even longer before I can come up there and visit... ^_~
