Merry Christmas to Ya'll
Dec. 15th, 2005 03:54 pmFigured, being Tis The Season and all, that I should share something with ya'll... so I decided on this. *grin*
The Most Easiest Fruit Cobbler Ever
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup milk
2 cups sweetened fresh fruit or berries, canned peaches (drained) or water-packed cherries
Melt margarine in a square pan no larger than 9 inches. (A minute or so in the microwave works.)
Mix flour, sugar, a pinch of salt, baking powder and milk. Stir. Spoon over melted margarine. Top with fruit.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. The dough rises and covers the fruit with a crust as the cobbler bakes.
Enjoy ^_^
