Fish and Febreeze

There hasn't been a lot to update about lately, nothing fun anyway... Who wants to hear about house insurance and mortgages, ya know? But I'm still here, still doin' my thang, daydreaming about getting the house all spiffy, maybe even renting out the upstairs...

As for the subject of this post, well... we had take away Vietnamese over the weekend. Come the next morning we found out the box had leaked and the car reeked of fish sauce. It's been a couple days now, but the damn thing still smells of fish and febreeze.

Febreeze may not save you^^ It's probably going to take many repeat sessions of scrubbing the strongest carpet cleaner you can get into it, vacuuming, letting it dry, sniff-test, repeating. We learned that the hard way by spilling gumbo in the van years ago. I mean, we like gumbo, but whoo!^^

There's still a stain, but the smell has thankfully disipated. I think I got lucky and only a little tiny bit got spilt. Still, gumbo? Dude, you win.
