Anyone seen/heard of a movie called Brick?

Here's some of the review:

...sure to one day rank with the best of the classic noir thrillers.

The film's razor sharp dialogue could be right out of a Hammett or Chandler novel, and Gordon-Levitt's performance easily holds up to the likes of Bogart or Cagney...

Yeah, it sounds cool... but you can't always trust what you read, ya know?

Oh, it's GOOD. I meant to post about this like a month ago. It's odd, being straight-up film noir, but using teens and sunny Cally instead of a dark and rainy city and Humphrey Bogart, but it works. Plus, Joseph Gordon-Levitt can sell me anything at this point. ^_^

My one complaint would be that because they talk in that stylized, abnormal "noir" way, sometimes it can be hard to figure out what the hell they're saying. But that could easily have been the fault of the tiny "artsy" theater I saw it in.

Really, I liked it a lot. Once you wrap your head around the "oh, it's NOIR" concept, you're okay.
