Ah, City Life

I live pretty much in Houston's ghetto, just a few blocks from some of the worst of the drugs and prostitutes and running gun battles (though my subdivision's managed to stay pretty safe, go figure.) So you can imagine my amusement when I walked outside this afternoon to see a big ol' rooster walking across the neighbor's lawn. A fat black cat was watching it too, totally ignoring the little bird that was trying to dive bomb the cat from the tree branches above. Man I wish I had a video camera.
