Home from Galveston, and I'm happy to say the Balinese went well. Though I think CZ got more of a kick throwing dice in the old Casino Room than actually playing on stage. (I brought some dice form home, and damn if they didn't come up 7 on the first roll.)
On the way home we stopped for dinner at this little Cajun seafood place on the seawall. Great shrimp, tasty fried mystery crab ball things, just sitting there watching the waves roll in... Yum.

(One overcooked beachbum was making roses out of strips of palm frond for pocket change, calling everyone Cap'n as they walked by.) For an afternoon, it wasn't a bad trip... but I really can't say it'd be worth it all the way from up there.
