zebralittle52Not a whole lot to report... mostly been trying to catch up on last sleep after Chicago last weekend. Did get together with ladydouji Friday for Firefly and fried chicken, then got together with the boy yesterday afternoon. He wanted to see Nacho Libre, and I figured the humor level would be right up an almost-15yr old's alley, so off we went. *shudder* Talk about awful, neither of us liked it!
Later last night, to clear my movie palate, we rented Vin Diesel's Find Me Guilty... it was great! Sure, it could've been better with someone more seasoned in the role, but he really did a remarkable job considering it was all dialog. No car chases, no FX, all drama. *beam* CZ loves wiseguy movies and courtroom dramas, and that's pretty much all the movie, so we were both happy. ^_^
Also, last night, I tried a new recipe for apricot chicken... turned out completely unsalvagable. We ended up going out for dinner. *hangs head in shame* If anyone out there has a proven recipe I'd love to hear about it? *sigh* Right now there's a consolation batch of brownies in the oven.
