Where have I been?

zebralittle52I guess when you're in a rut, there isn't much to post. Life's been mostly work, sleep, rinse and repeat. Blah.
One thing I have been doing is renting the first season of Deadwood. Sure I'd been hearing about it for ages, but only got around to checking it out last weekend. Wow! And I'm beyond amused by the Deadwood Pancakes over on youtube. ^_~ Only thing? Now there's a plotbunny nibbling at my ear. A Deadwood/Firefly crossover, all dark and brooding and creepy 'cause who knows just how deep or far back River can see into a persons soul, about lessons never being learned and the futility of hope.
There is some interesting news, though, as far as CZ's group Generation Landslide goes. Next Saturday (I think next Saturday... that's the 4th, right? So yeah, next Saturday.) they're playing on the Free Press stage at the Westheimer Street Festival. There's even been talk about recording it for a live album.
