Fascinating, Captain

We just rented Stranger Than Fiction, the Will Farrell, Emma Thompson movie, and all I can say is Wow. It's something I think every writer, no matter who or what or how, should find fascinating. I mean really, how would you deal with a character you've done horrible things to showing up on your doorstep?
