Not dead yet

The power went out around 8:30 Friday night. We lost water Saturday afternoon. No flooding type damage to the apartment, but with the mosquitoes breeding all over the place we couldn't stay. Luckly, some friends have power, water and (obviously) internet, so this afternoon we're going better. The water needs to be boiled before we can drink, but we can finally bathe.
No idea when we can go back home. No idea when I can get back to work ('cause that paycheck would be a VERY good thing right now.) Phones aren't working for crap right now.
I thought I was handling things ok, but now I can't stop shaking.
It kills me to think of how much food we had to throw out. Everything in the fridge is gone. Freezer too. Canned goods are at a premium. I'll post when things change. From what the news says that might be up to a month from now, but still...
