The Weekend Report

I'm happy to report the 4th passed safely this year. What with our 7 day streak of 100+ degree weather, the threat of fire was incredibly high.

For the 4th, I decided to cook a completely American dinner... meatloaf and green bean casserole.

Last night, Deb and I headed out to see the new Transformers movie. Yeah, it was loud, with lots of pretty booms and an Ooh or two, but I was so friggin' bored I nearly fell asleep! No matter how pretty the cliche may be, it's still an old cliche.

How'm I doin? *shrug* Meh. It's far too hot outside to do a damn thing (hell, when it's 90 outside, it's a coldfront!)

But we're doing ok, could be worse, so it's not all that bad I guess.
