So I'm getting ready to move, doing the whole "what can I donate, what can I toss" thing, and I found some old wedding books full of pictures. They were stuck in the back of a drawer I don't use any more, must have been there since the divorce 4 1/2 years ago... and I don't know what to do with them.

Frankly I don't want to keep them, but the thought of them sitting in a trash where anyone can come along and get their grubby mits on 'em creeps me out. I'd half thought about burning them, but that's just far more dramatic than they really deserve.

Any ideas?


And on a brighter note, I picked up the second Cowboy Bebop manga today... I love Jet, no matter how goofy they draw him.

Two words - paper shredder. Don't know if it was a friendly divorce or not but if it wasn't, there is nothing more satisfying than watching those you don't love be mutilated by metal blades.

Good luck with the move. I'm going through the same thing. Moving at the end of this month. I'm at the point where I am thinking of donating everything I own and sleeping on the floor.

The shredder's the best suggestion I've gotten so far, so that's the plan. *nod*

As for moving... blah. I'm thinking the same thing. Sure, the futon's in good condition, but I could always get another one from some place that delivers. (And to the second story, too! Oi...)

I'm moving to the 3rd floor - and the stairs are the old kind that wind around and are narrower on one end. Real fun. So far I've cut it down to about 10 pieces of furniture and under 20 boxes.
