Knights made my day
Feb. 18th, 2003 05:45 pmShanghai Knights lived up to my expectations. (Being a sequel, I must admit I wasn't expecting all that much. And there were a lot of real groaners mixed in with the typical bad jokes and expected silliness.) The chemistry dripping off of Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson alone would have been worth the ticket price, but Aidan Gillan MADE the movie for me. As evil Count Rathbone, he stole every scene he was in, and I can't think of a single time he was on screen that wasn't lickable.
Here he is with his partner in evilness, played by Donnie Yen. And here's a nice face shot.
(Does it hurt that I've been drooling over him since seeing the original UK Queer as Folk? Or that men in suits/tuxes make me weak in the knees? Well, no... And the swordplay at the end! Unnn!)
Must be the evil in me... I just can't resist a good bad guy. ^_~
