I can't feel my nose

Amazing what an overdose of chocolate can do, isn't it?

ladydouji showed up after class this morning with a bag full of chocolate. A BIG bag, mind, from hitting after Easter sales. Marzipan, turkish delight, scoops and eggs and bunnies and... @_@ Gah.

After dropping my car off at the shop, we came back to my place for a Fruits Basket marathon (disks 2 and 3) interspersed with Robin Williams on Broadway. And pizza. Oh, and more chocolate.

Turns out one of the brakes calipers got stuck, which explains the grinding noise. They replaced both front ones, plus the break pads, break fluid, resurfaced rotors and drained the system. *listens to my wallet whimper*

Then we came back here for more chocolate, and started dying eggs.

In an effort to claim creative motivation ('cause, you know, responsible adults *snort* don't dye eggs the day after Easter without a reason) we tried dipping them in layers, using melted wax to create designs between the different colors. In theory, once we were through we'd remove the wax to show the color underneath and be able to expand on our designs.

How'd it turn out? Well... I'll be having tuna salad for the rest of the week, let's leave it at that.

And chocolate.

Would someone please make the room stop spinning?
