I broke Wren's brain
Apr. 28th, 2003 01:40 amQaF *squee* was over, so wrenlet puts on this clip she downloaded from Wake, one of the movies Gale Harold's been in. It was really intense and creepy, all religion'y and violent, and Gale had a southern twang in his voice. It made me think of Caleb from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
So I mentioned how much I've love to see Gale Harold and Nathan Fillion in something together. (Watching her brain melt is always fun ^_~ but she got back at me by suggesting Gale'd be perfect to play Gambit in an X-men movie... Gambit/Wolverine *dies*)
Speaking of Buffy, (Do I really have to put spoiler warning on an ep that's 5 years old?) I got to see the Oz/Werewolf ep today (Xander -so- denying that part of him that thought Oz was good looking... and the jock! Hee!), along with the episode where Angelus killed Jenny Calendar. GOD that ep rocked! The angst, the "passions" monologue, Snarky!Spike in the wheelchair, Giles kicking ass and wailing on Angel with a fiery baseball bat.... saying this was the first time he'd had to bury someone he loved... *sniff*
It. Kicked. Ass.
In other news, I picked up volumes 2 and 4 of Rawhide Kid (they were out of #3) and the first League of Extraordinary Gentlemen book (which includes a Dorian Gray paint by numbers, featuring such colors as "light hypothermia", "dysentery green", "moral grey" and "spoiled fruit sienna". *snerk*)
*goes off in search of Xander love*
